About this role
TFS HealthScience is a leading global mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO) that partners with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout their entire clinical development journey. Our expertise includes full-service capabilities, resourcing, and Functional Service (FSP) solutions.
We are currently seeking a Safety Physician (Freelance, 0.5 FTE) to join our FSP team. The Safety Physician will provide expert medical input on safety and pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring that all safety-related deliverables meet regulatory and quality standards.
As part of our SRS/FSP team, you will be dedicated to one global pharmaceutical sponsor, an industry leader in innovative drug development, contributing to ongoing safety operations and clinical development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical assessment of suspected adverse reactions to medicinal products
- Provide medical input and review for safety documents including PSURs, DSURs, PBRERs, RMPs, and cumulative listings
- Review and contribute to the safety sections of study protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, and clinical trial reports
- Provide medical input on signal detection and literature review activities
- Offer strategic medical advice on pharmacovigilance systems and processes
- Contribute to departmental SOPs, training materials, and participate in customer meetings when required
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Safety Physician within clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry
- Solid understanding of ICH-GCP, pharmacovigilance legislation, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical data into clear conclusions
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
